First launched in February 2014, DNotes is a blockchain-based digital currency and payment system developed by DNotes Global Inc. It allows users to perform crypto transactions within the platform. In addition, DNotes features a vault service named DNotes Vault as well as a news and information media outlet, the DCEBrief.
The NOTE token is a Scrypt-based algorithm cryptocurrency. It is open source, uses a Proof of Stake (PoS) mechanism to reward, and charge a 0.005 NOTE fee for each transaction made with the token.
The official Dnotes ticker is “NOTE” and trades under that name on all the exchanges where it has been listed. The designation “DNOTES” is for CryptoCompare.com only.
