Market Update

At the time of writing, the Bitcoin price is sitting at $3,855 representing a loss of 3.63% in the last 24 hours. More than $300 M worth of BTC were exchanged in the BTC/USD market representing a 18% share of the global daily volume. The BTC/JPY pair represents an 8% share.

The Ethereum price has dropped 4.07% over the past 24 hours and is currently sitting at $106, with over $50 M worth of Ether exchanged in the past 24 hours on the ETH/USD pair which has a 9% market share of the daily trading volume.

Binance is Launching Binancechain 

Yesterday, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao shared some news with the Binance community. Speaking at Forbes Asia, CZ disclosed that the launch of Binancechain is going to be “very soon”. CZ stated: 

"We are launching Binancechain very soon, in a couple months or so, and you will be able to issue tokens on that... I think there will be millions of coins and thousands of blockchains."

GMO Will Only List Bitcoin Cash ABC

Last Monday, an exclusive report on Finance Magnates explained that GMO Coin has decided to only list the Bitcoin Cash ABC (BCHABC, BCH on most exchanges) coin on their exchange. BCH trading had been paused since the fork but started again yesterday morning with their BCH/JPY trading pair. GMO Coin spokesperson stated:

"In our company, the one shown as BCH indicates a Bitcoin Cash called BCHABC."

Binance Users Can Book Hotels Using Crypto Token BNB

Yesterday, Tripio officially announced a strategic partnership with Binance to enable more than 10 million active users in the Binance ecosystem to utilize BNB as one of the main currencies on the Tripio platform. On twitter, Tripio stated:

"We are pleased to announce a strategic partnership with @Binance. From now on, more than 10 million users of Binance can make reservation for 450,000+ hotels worldwide using $BNB on Tripio."

Ether is down 0.54% against Bitcoin at Ƀ0.02775 per Ether and down 4.07% against the dollar to $106.8 with average volume Ƀ60.3k on the ETH/BTC pair.

Bitcoin Cash is down 8.04% to Ƀ0.04051 with volumes of Ƀ3.2k and down 8.15% against the dollar at $162.36.

Ripple is up 0.45% to Ƀ0.00008943 with volumes of Ƀ19.1k and down 3.09% against the dollar at $0.3446.

Zcash is up 0.38% for the day to Ƀ0.01846 per ZEC and down 2.76% against the dollar to $71.49 with an average volume of Ƀ7.6k for the 24 hour period.

Litecoin is down 4.37% against the dollar for the day at $30.23 and down 0.92% to Ƀ0.007863 on volumes of Ƀ16.0k.

Dash is down 2.5% at Ƀ0.02105 with Ƀ26.9k volume and down 6.14% against the dollar at $81.58.

Iota is up 0.26% to Ƀ0.00006916 on Ƀ322.632 volume.

Ether Classic is down 7.23% to Ƀ0.00109 with volumes of Ƀ9.0k and down 11.02% against the dollar at $4.2.

Monero is down 3.87% against the dollar at $54.36 and down 0.35% against Bitcoin at Ƀ0.01414 on volumes of Ƀ1.7k.
