Bitcoin Cash Fork: Craig Wright Threatens to Crash Bitcoin Price

Craig Wright, the man who claims to be the real Satoshi Nakamoto and pseudonymous creator of Bitcoin, has threatened to crash the price of Bitcoin if miners support the Bitcoin Cash ABC project in the upcoming fork. Wright warned Bitcoin miners that, if they show support for the Roger Ver/Jihan Wu (Bitmain) backed Bitcoin Cash ABC (BCH) over his Bitcoin Satoshi’s Vision (BSV) project, he would be looking to fund his side of any ensuing ‘hash war’ battle by selling off Bitcoins. Wright tweeted:

"To all BTC miners, If you switch to mine BCH, we may need to fund this with BTC, if we do, we sell for USD and we think BTC market has no room, it tanks. Think about it. We will sell A Lot! Consider that... And, have a nice day (BTC to 1000 does not phase me)"

Pure Bit: $30M Crypto Exit Scam in South Korea

Earlier this month, Pure Bit conducted an ICO to supposedly build a cryptocurrency exchange, however, the project disappeared with more than $30 million in user funds. On the 13th of November, Pure Bit and its operators shut down all of their social media handles including KakaoTalk groups, kicking out investors in various public chat groups with the message “I’m sorry.” Within a few hours, the exchange which held the ICO funds was contacted by the South Korea authorities to block the account of the scammers and freeze their funds. Later on, possibly due to the involvement of law enforcement agencies, the group released a statement apologizing for its fraudulent operation:

"I made an unforgivable mistake that cannot be turned around, blinded by money. It has been less than a day and I have already started to suffer from guilt. Although it cannot be compared with the hardship faced by the investors, I also felt significant guilt. I sincerely apologize to all of the investors in the ICO who were affected by the operation."
