Switzerland Approves first multiple cryptocurrency ETP with Ticker $HODL
Recently, the ETP offered by Amun Crypto, A U.K based fintech company, has been approved and will start trading on Switzerland's Six Swiss Exchange on the beginning of next week. According to the Financial Times, the ETP will be trading using the ticker $HODL and has been designed to track an index based on five leading cryptocurrencies, such as bitcoin (48%), ripple (30%) and the rest will be put towards bitcoin cash, ethereum, and litecoin. Hany Rashwan, Amun’s Top Executive stated:
"The Amun ETP will give institutional investors that are restricted to investing only in securities or do not want to set up custody for digital assets exposure to cryptocurrencies. It will also provide access for retail investors that currently have no access to crypto exchanges due to local regulatory impediments"

SEC Charges Two ICO Startups for Failing to Register Their Tokens As Securities
Last Friday, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced that Paragoin Coin, Inc, and CarrierEQ, Inc blockchain startups agreed to refund investors, register their tokens as securities, file regular reports with the SEC, and pay civil penalties for failing to register their tokens as securities before conducting their ICOs. In 2017, both startups conducted ICOs in 2017 despite the fact that Commission had warned companies in the DAO Investigation Report that ICO tokens could be viewed as securities under the Securities Act of 1933 (“Securities Act”) and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (“Exchange Act”). The SEC report concluded:
"Whether or not a particular transaction involves the offer and sale of a security— regardless of the terminology used—will depend on the facts and circumstances, including the economic realities of the transaction. Those who offer and sell securities in the United States must comply with the federal securities laws, including the requirement to register with the Commission or to qualify for an exemption from the registration requirements of the federal securities laws."

Tron Launches Tron Accelerator, a $1M dApp Incubator Program
Tron (TRX) recently launched Tron Accelerator, an incubator that aims to “empower developers and foster innovation within the blockchain industry.” The Tron Accelerator will use funds from the Tron Foundation to help fund decentralized applications (dApps) in their start-up phase, as stated by the company, a total of $1M split up between 56 winning projects will be awarded at the Tron niTROn Summit in San Francisco.
