Twitter Teams up With eToro to Let Users Trade Stocks, Crypto

Through an unexpected partnership with social trading platform eToro, microblogging platform Twitter is set to let its users access stocks, cryptocurrencies, and other financial assets.

The new feature, allowing users to buy and sell these assets while seeing their charts, has already started rolling out. Previously, Twitter's "cashtags" feature allowed users to access real-time trading data, and with the new collaboration cashtags will encompass a broader array of instruments and asset classes, according to eToro.

The collaboration adds an option to click a button labeled "view on eToro" that directs them to eToro's site for buying and selling assets.

Founded in 2007 in Israel, eToro is an online brokerage that has over 32 million registered users and allows them to buy and sell stocks, cryptocurrencies, and index funds. Its most popular feature enables users to replicate the trading strategies of others.

Solana’s Crypto Phone Saga Goes on Sale on May 8

Solana Labs is set to launch its cryptocurrency-centric smartphone, the Saga, on May 8. Pre-ordered devices have already started shipping, about 10 months after Soalan first hinted at the groundbreaking potential of a cell phone that could also function as a dedicated cryptocurrency hardware wallet.

Priced at $1,000, the Saga is manufactured in partnership with the Bay Area-based smartphone company OSOM. The device boasts 512 GB of storage, dual versatile rear camera lenses, a 6.67-inch OLED display, and a fingerprint scanner, all powered by the latest Android operating system.

What sets the Saga apart, according to Solana, is the "Solana Mobile Stack" (SMS) – a collection of bespoke add-ons designed to seamlessly integrate cryptocurrency functionality into both the hardware and software of the phone.

SMS includes embedded security features that enable users to send, receive, trade, and store cryptocurrency on the device.

The Saga also features a tailored "dapp" store that exclusively lists cryptocurrency applications. At launch, over a dozen apps are available, spanning cryptocurrency trading, inter-wallet communications, music, and digital collectibles, with more anticipated to be added over time.

Uniswap Launches Mobile Wallet on iOS

Leading decentralized exchange Uniswap has unveiled a mobile wallet complete with built-in support for its trading platform. The app, which is for now available on iOS devices in select countries, can be downloaded on Apple’s App Store.

Last month, the team behind Uniswap expressed frustration over Apple blocking the app from its stores. However, in a recent announcement, the team revealed that their wallet has been liberated from "Apple jail" and is now live in most countries.

The new Uniswap wallet enables users to swap tokens across the Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism networks. Additionally, it can be connected to any Ethereum app through WalletConnect.

The app also offers users detailed information about nonfungible tokens (NFTs) stored within the wallet, including floor prices and collections.

Crypto Market Movers – MASK, CFX, ZRX

Several tokens are leading the charge in the last 7-day period. Some of these are well-known cryptocurrencies with more liquid trading pairs, so we’ll be focusing on these over low-cap cryptos that may have higher percentage changes.

Mask Network (MASK) - Mask Network provides users with the tools to encrypt their posts & chats on social networks, allowing only their friends to decrypt them.

Conflux Network (CFX) - Conflux Network is a next-generation public blockchain network that provides a platform for decentralized applications (dApps) and digital assets. It uses a unique consensus mechanism called Tree-Graph to achieve high transaction throughput and low latency.

0x (ZRX) - Designed as a foundation for building decentralized exchanges (DEX), 0x seeks to provide a trustless, efficient, and liquid platform for exchanging Ethereum tokens, which often have low market capitalization and limited availability.
