The WalletConnect Token (WCT) is the native token of a decentralised network that enables secure, encrypted connections between wallets and applications across blockchain ecosystems. It is used for staking, governance and distributing rewards to participants such as node operators and wallet providers. Initially non-transferable, WCT supports the transition of the WalletConnect Network towards a permissionless and community-governed infrastructure.
