One of the reasons for OKCoin’s success is their fee schedule. The fees are very low in the International market and unmatched in the Chinese market.

Trading fees are based on a sliding scale like many others, and it refers to the monthly volume. Maker fees are set to zero, while taker fees drop as the trading volume increases.

According to the monthly volume, taker fees are:

0 to 50 BTC – 0.20 percent
50 to 200 BTC – 0.18 percent
200 to 600 BTC – 0.16 percent
600 to 1500 BTC – 0.14 percent
1500 to 5000 BTC – 0.12 percent
Over 5000 BTC – 0.10 percent
When it comes to futures trading, the open position is charged 0.03 percent, while closed position is free of charge.

The borrowing limits are:

Seriously Mentally Challenged - I sent them a note telling them they only allow 30 characters for an email address to create an account. They should allow 50 characters. I was writing because I am unable to create an account. Their response follows: "We are sorry for your inconvenience. We would suggest you to use a different email, since the email you are sending from may not receive email from us.
We kindly suggest you to use more common emails like： Gmail, Hotmail, or Yahoo, and so on." -I have been using my email address for 18 years, I am not changing for them.

i registred to this site okcoin a few weeks ago and after a few days of trading, i face some issue, site went offline for 6hrs and money disapear from my account, they put all in forced liquidation, i have reported this to theyr support that say that have face issue BUT AFTER 10 days they still not have give me any refound or answer!! ITS A START OF SCAM? BE AWARE-- TAKE CARE

Get the hell out of there !! As by the news, they've been given a month by their communist rulers to shutdown !! My trades don't work, my withdrawals don't work anymore !!
They seem to have no intention to just walk away without their customers funds !!

Unfortunately this exchange doesn't currently allow citizens or residents of the United States to use its services.

My money is on HOLD and still not refunded. It started more than two weeks ago, I have transferred US$ to my OKcoin account, after a few days the money is still not credited to my OKcoin account, I asked support desk to trace my money and they told me:" Due to reason of new AML (Anti Money Laundering) requirement in Taiwan, USD deposit is temporarily not accepted at present." they promised me to refund immediately, now more than two weeks they still cannot send me the refunding certificate! OKcoin doesn't mention about this AML on their website, deposit info and bankaccount is still active. DON'T SEND US$ to OKcoin!!
